This is really important, because using cosmetics with these ingredients leads to a faster washout of keratin from the hair, and it can be that after a month you will lose all the effect. There are special hair care products available after keratin straightening, but you don't have to use them. Much cheaper and not less successful substitute will be cosmetics from children's series, such products often do not have the above-mentioned ingredients, so many women after this treatment use these means. It is also worth using a product with keratin in the composition and sulfate-free shampoos.
It is often possible to meet an opinion that keratin straightening destroys the hair. Women write in blogs or on forums that a few months after keratin treatment their hair is in worse condition than before the procedure. Keratin does not destroy hair. We just get used to shiny and smooth new hair very quickly, and when the keratin starts to wash out after a while, we see dry, frizzy hair again, which looks terrible compared to the hair after the treatment.
